Ludwigshafen is often overlooked during wedding planning — unfairly so. The city on the Rhine has its own unique charm: industrial backdrops meet green oases, and the view across the Rhine to Mannheim’s skyline is spectacular especially at sunset. These contrasts make wedding photos in Ludwigshafen distinctive and unmistakable.
The Ebertpark surprises with its variety — from manicured flower beds to shady avenues to the large fountain. The Rhine meadows lie directly on the Rhine and offer wild, natural backdrops among old trees and river landscapes. And the Parkinsel with the Mannheim city skyline in the background is ideal for dramatic evening shots.

I know when the light falls most beautifully at the Ebertpark, which corners of the Rhine meadows bloom in spring, and where you can be undisturbed on the Parkinsel. This knowledge makes the difference between good and great wedding photos.
Another advantage: Ludwigshafen is centrally located. In 15 minutes you reach Mannheim with the Baroque palace, in 30 minutes the Old Bridge and Heidelberg Castle. Many of my couples take advantage of this proximity for a location mix on their big day.

The Ebertpark is ideal for green garden photos, the Rhine Promenade offers a great view of Mannheim, and the Parkinsel is suited for natural outdoor shots. The nearby Mannheim with its Baroque palace and Luisenpark can be reached quickly.
Ideally 6–12 months before the wedding. In peak season (May–September) popular Saturdays book up quickly. A get-to-know-you call is non-binding — feel free to get in touch early.
Within 4–6 weeks after the wedding you receive all edited images in an online gallery for download. I often send a few highlights in the following week.
